Frequently asked questions
Can different people play different instruments in one room?
Yes. In a band room each player picks a different instrument, for example piano, guitar and drums. In an ensemble room everyone plays the same one.
Is it free to play music online with friends?
Yes. Music rooms are free. You can browse live rooms without an account and sign in for free to join one.
How many people can play in a music room?
Up to 4 players, plus up to 8 listeners when the host allows them.
Can I make a private room?
Yes. Private rooms need an invite code from the host, or the host can let you in when you ask to join.
Will there be delay when playing online together?
Audio travels directly between players' browsers, so delay depends on everyone's connection. Headphones and a strong connection help; some strict office or school networks can block direct connections.
